    Afl refuses melbourne’s priority pick bid despite promise of A-League return

    Crisp is set to head to Melbourne Victory for a pre-season tour.

    With Brisbane’s A-League squad in full swing, Victory boss Tony Popovic will use his visit with the Brisbane Roar to promote his squad for the 2012 season.

    “The big challenge for us now is to maintain our A-League title ambitions and to finish the season strong.

    With Brisbane’s side in action on Friday night, A-League chief executive David Gallop is hopeful the Roar’s players will receive an extra run on their season.

    “So far so good and we’re hoping that that will continue to happen.

    “There’s a very good relationship with the Australian Football League and the season starts on March 29 and the players that were in Perth during the transfer window have had several days off before coming back here to Melbourne for pre-season.”

    While Melbourne have been the preferred destination for the Roar, former player Robbie Kruse has expressed his desire to travel back to Australia to play football.

    “The Roar’s Australian squad have come out and played good football, and that was my main goal and that was why I came back to play here,” he said.

    “I’m happy that I’ll be in Sydney on Feb진주출장마사지ruary 18 so I’ll be training at the stadium with them a few days ago, so hopefully it’ll be good for both sides.”

    On his return home, Kruse would only give a brief account of what had gone on in Perth.

    “I have been away from my family a lot because the Roar was playing at home for the first 10 weeks of the season and then we had a big break,” he said.
